WHAT ... THE COLOUR OF MY BEDROOM!

Happy Saturday Crafty Pals and it's time for another Less is More Challenge
This week we'd like to see you create a Clean and Simple card
using the colours of your bedroom.

In case you don't know we are currently undergoing renovations to the
master bedroom/shower room at the Sazzle household ...
with walls knocked down, walls bricked up, walls appearing where there weren't any
(hey what a cop out) so I'm having to exaggerate on the truth and use the
colours of my soon-to-be decorated room using this Design seeds image.

feathered palette

My card uses 2 dies from Paper Smooches - the city scape and balloons
plus MFT Die Namics Snow Scene which I've used loads
since I bought it but so far not for a snow drift!
To finish off there's a birthday sentiment from Uniko Studio 'A Gift For You'
twine and Doodlebug Sprinkles from my stash.

In real life the background is a shimmery glitter card
so I'm going to enter this card over at
CASology where the theme this week is 'Shine'

This card uses another Uniko Studio set 'Background builders - Circles'
which is stamped then heat embossed with white embossing powder
onto various coloured snippets of card.
These are die-cut into circles and mounted to the CS either flat
or on different depths of 3D foam adhesive.

To finish off I've added a strip of patterned paper from Studio Calico
scalloped border, 'Happy' word die and sentiment from Clearly Besotted plus
a couple of gems and Doodlebug sprinkles for that extra bit of 'dazzle'

The teeny mention of 'Snippets' above has reminded me that there's
a special 2-week give-away challenge at Pixies Crafty Snippets Playground
so if the gates are still open I'll be heading across there.

Ok crafters it's over to you now and I look forward to seeing what glorious colours
you have decorated your rooms in.

Thanks for dropping in and have a fun weekend.

Sarah
