AAA Cards Challenge #34

Hi blog buddies, I'm so excited that you've stopped by today
as I'm thrilled to announce that I have been invited to join
the design team at AAA Cards Challenge!
If you haven't visited their blog already you are missing a treat!
The design team members are so so talented and I can't
quite believe I'm working amongst them - can you hear me squeal?
So without further ado here's the latest challenge which runs from
1st - 14th March and I do hope you'll play along too.
The theme is 'RAIN' which we see lots of in the UK
and we'd like to see watercolour or look-alike watercolour.
Here's my card followed by the inspiration photo - I've got a
'love / hate' relationship going on with this card and have made
several different ones on the theme but in the end Mr Dazzle
said to stick with this one! - Who am I to argue!

Card Recipe:
To create my rainbow panel I used Tim Holtz watercolour card, wet all over with
a large brush before drizzling Distress Inks in rainbow colours.
After inking there's a bit of spritzing, wiggling card, merging inks, dripping water before
die-cutting with a Stitched Square from MFT Die-Namics.
It's not clear in the photo but there are drips of glossy accents on the rainbow for a raindrop effect.
Flowers & sentiment are Uniko Studio: Flower Power #3 & #4 coloured with Inktense pencils.

Before you put 'ink to paper' please pop across to the
AAA Cards blog for more fabulous inspiration from the design team;
you won't be disappointed.
I'd also like to enter my card at a few more challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: it's Anything Goes at the Wednesday Challenge
Addicted to CAS: I've used Distress inks
Inkspirational: 'Sprinkle' ... there's a lot of raindrops/sprinkles on my card
(hope that counts here too!)

Have fun and looking forward to seeing your creations soon.
