Less is More #224

Hi again crafty pals ... this is my 2nd post today!

In case you missed the first one it's Here
I had to set the alarm extra specially early to post
a birthday card linky for one of my buddies: Sandie of London Days.
I do hope you'll join in the surprise linky party (details in the link above)
to help her celebrate her special day!

Ok back to Less is More news and it's a new challenge ...

'Hello Sunshine
is what we'd like to see so here's my examples.
I could have kicked myself for using all those sunshine images
last week with the water challenge!!!

Card Recipe:
My Favourite Things: Sun Ray Stencil
Distress Inks: Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed & Squeezed Lemonade
Sentiment is computer generated and I tried my best to come up with
a musical lyric that would work with an occasion!

WHY? ... CASology have a 'Music' Themed challenge!

Next up is certainly LESS is MORE ... 'white space'
than I've ever used I think!!!

Card Recipe:
Card-io: Woodland Walks stamp set
Uniko Studio: Bright Butterflies - Sentiment
Distress Inks: Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn
Versacolor Inks: Canary and Peony for the sun

I thought a 'SUN'flower might work with this one ... well a Gerbera to be honest!

Card Recipe:
MFT Die-namics: Gerbera
MFT Die-namics: In and Out Diagonal Stitched rectangles
MFT Die-Namics: Sentiment strips
Clearly Besotted: Spring Blooms sentiment

I'd like to enter this one over at CAS(E) This Sketch
and I've rotated the sketch clockwise.

Last but not least and just for fun in the sun!

Card Recipe:
MFT Die-Namics: In and Out Diagonal Stitched rectangles
My Favourite Things: Concentric Circles Stencil
Distress Inks: Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed & Squeezed Lemonade
Clearly Besotted: 'Hello' word die
The Alley Way Stamps: Face It

Ok it's over to you lovely crafty people and as always
I can't wait to see what you make of this week's challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and catch up with you again soon.

  11. Oh, my goodness. So many gorgeous cards, I don't know where to start, they are all so lovely. Lots of wonderful sunshine here on your post. Very clever way to use song lyrics on your CASology card, and I'm so glad you played along with us this week.

  12. These are beautiful, Sarah! I especially love that scene you created across the bottom of the second, and being a Kansas girl, that big, bold sunflower speaks to me.
