Uniko Reveal, Release and Blog Hop - November 2016

It's here! Time to announce the full reveal, release and traditional blog hop
for the November 2016 release of Christmas stamp sets from

Uniko

I'm sure you'll agree these are all stunning and work perfectly
either stand-alone or combined with previously releases sets.

They're full of stylish Christmas images and the most gorgeous
swirly sentiments to mix and match with standard text too.

I love creating backgrounds for cards using all those mini stamp images
that get forgotten about so on these first 3 I've teamed the new sets
with images from previously released sets too:

BG Builders Vines - Winter Addition and Label Love: Christmas
in traditional and non-traditional colours!

and another one for the Rustic Wreath gallery ... loving this
colourway for Christmas this year!

I'd like to add this one to the TimeOut Challenge this week
where it's a Christmas theme with the option of shimmer, glitter.
I've used some sparkling sequins so hope they count!

Here's the order for the hop

Sarah P (that's me)

... and here's all the images of the sets.
Good luck with the hope and I've got everything crossed that
you'll be a winner of these sets - they are simply perfect for
quick Christmas makes!

Thanks for visiting and enjoy the HOP!

Uniko - Introducing Rustic Wreath

Hi friends, I'm back again ... having posted the Less is More Challenge post HERE,
which, incidentally, also includes another sneaky peak at this wonderful wreath!

This post is to introduce you to the last of the new sets from this month's
mini release  from Uniko and today it's Rustic Wreath which teams
perfectly with the previously released 'Rustic Christmas'

Having photographed this card I wasn't sure if I liked it so decided to
crop it and mount on white card instead (below) - which do you prefer?

... and for good measure and because I was enjoying myself so much
here's a shaker card using the same set. Do you like my Uniko toned
colour combo ... you'll see quite a few in this colourway or similar
popping up over the next few weeks as we head swiftly towards that
fun and festive season!

Ok, you've had the sneaky peeks and introductions so all that's left is for you
to pop back here tomorrow for the ...

Release Day! Sunday 27th November 9am: you'll get to see the products
in their entirety and purchase them HERE on the website!

As usual there will be a
Design Team Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

I hope you'll join me then and thanks for visiting today!

Less is More #304

Morning friends, this is my first of two posts today so I hope you'll
pop back in an hour when I'll be introducing the Rustic Wreath,
soon to be released Christmas set from Uniko!

If you can't wait that long I've got a sneaky little preview here using
this very set but there will be more a little later!

BUT first of all it's time to announce this week's challenge over at

Less is More

and we are back round to our Recipe week! We'd like to see you use
an Emboss Resist technique on your card and there's lots of brilliant
examples from my fellow teamies at Less is More so I hope you'll zip across
to the main blog HERE and follow the links to their individual blogs!

First up here's mine ...

As promised a preview of the Rustic Wreath set being released tomorrow
by Uniko and here I've embossed the wreath and one of the sentiments in the set
with Hero Arts White EP before blending various blue toned distress inks over
the top. The melted embossing powder acts as the resist here. I've also
spritzed a flicked a little water and perfect pearls mix - because I can't help myself
then added a few gems from my stash for added sparkle. The base panel is subtly
dry embossed with one of the We R Memory Keepers Next Level embossing folders.

I'd like to link this one up over at Timeout Challenges where the
theme is Christmas with the optional twist of glitter and shimmer.
In real life my card is shimmering from the perfect pearl spritz plus I've
added some mini gems which certainly shimmer and sparkle in the light!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas on my blog ... so here's another festive card

Again using stamps by Uniko: Christmas Foliage and a sentiment from the
Rustic Wreath set. I've heat embossed the foliage with Ranger Silver Pearl
embossing powder this time and blended Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough
and Lucky Clover over them to enhance the 'resist' stamping. To finish a
die-cut frame using MFT Die-Namics pierced rectangle dies, pine cones from
the Uniko Christmas Foliage set and some red nail heads for some glossy detail.

Thanks as always for popping by my blog and I hope you feel inspired
to play along with our challenge this week.

Have fun!

Happy Birthday CAS Colours & Sketches

Hello friends, these days I don't seem to get chance to play along in
challenges just for fun with other DT work - can't complain BUT today
I spotted that CAS Colours & Sketches is celebrating their 200th challenge.

Congratulations, Happy Birthday and HUGE well done ladies!

Some of my blog buddies are on the team so I decided to
make a little card for them ...

This one uses Neat & Tangled: Everyday Circles plus
a few additional circles from Happy Little Stampers: Mix Mash

I'd also like to link this up at Anything Goes with HLS

Short and sweet as I'm in the middle of scheduling some
other posts but I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest
challenge from AAA Cards so hope you'll join me then.

Less is More Challenge #303

Hi there friends it's time to announce this week's challenge at
Less is More and we are back round to our THEME week.

We've chosen VINTAGE for this one so I hope you have some fun with it
and I can't wait to see your creations. I struggled again with the challenge this
week and realise when I spotted some of the other DT creations that they'd
beaten me to my ideas which left very little in my stash to play with!

So just the one from me as I'll let you into a sneaky secret ... I've been
busy spending time on the latest release from Uniko ! So keep an eye out
for the peeks later in the week on my blog! I'm sure you'll love them!

So I pulled out this delightful 'I Love Tea' set also from Uniko along
with the sentiment and heat embossed the cups onto some fairly vintage
(in my opinion) design paper from My Mind's Eye. I think the gold edge
adds to that vintage feel and it reminded me of a wedding I went to last
year for some friends. They'd gone for a whole vintage tea party theme
and managed to collect loads of tea sets and icons to decorate the tables with
from various car boot sales over the previous 2 years. It looked stunning.

The background paper is also by My Mind's Eye from the same pack
and although the edges were already 'distressed' I've added a little more
with Scattered Straw distress ink. To finish a wrap around of hemp twine.

There's loads more superb designs from my fellow teamies so I hope you'll
hop around their blogs too. The links are all on the main Less is More blog
HERE and I'm sure you'll love their inspiration.

Thanks as always for calling by today, have fun and I'll be back tomorrow
with another new challenge over at AAA Cards.

Uniko Challenge #38

Hey there friends, it's time to announce our latest challenge over at

Uniko

and perfectly in keeping with the Season and to give you another
chance to create some Christmas cards our theme is

Simply Christmas ...

Here's mine and you may have noticed the Uniko team were supporting
Tracey McNeely's 25 Tags of Christmas again this year and I got
a little carried away with tag making! So my card for today is
actually a set of tags using various Christmas sets by Uniko.

There's plenty more inspiration over on the main Uniko blog HERE
with links to their blogs, plus we are also joined by another of our
previous winners; Sue of Sue's Card Craft I do hope you'll stop by
her blog and leave some love and a friendly word!

I hope you'll play along with this one and you have until
Friday, 16th December to link up your cards.

As always thanks for calling by my blog today and I'll
be back tomorrow with the latest challenge from Less is More.

Happy Little Stampers - Design Team

Morning friends, please read on ... I've got some super exciting news!

Whoopie! I've know for a while and had to keep it under wraps and I'm now a
little late to the announcement party as I've been too busy with other things.

I really wanted to create a card to go with this post and I've sneaked a little time
having received some of Kylie's new release sets last week!

I've used several sets to create the card:
Doodled Flowers (leaves stamped around a circle to form a wreath)
Mixed Media Fun: for the sentiment with the 'IN THE' by STAMPlorations
Mix Mash: For my holly berries - using my white gel pen I've added
some highlights to them too.

So I can't wait to join some of my best blog buddies from January on the

Thanks to Kylie and all the team for inviting me and making me very welcome!

I'd like to link my card up at Anything Goes with HLS stamps

and Addicted to Stamps & More using their photo inspiration.

As always thanks for calling by today and I'll be back tomorrow
with the latest monthly challenge from Uniko!

STAMPlorations Giving Thanks Blog Hop

Hi there friends, I'm here with a bonus post on behalf of Less is More
as we have been invited to participate in the

STAMPlorations Giving Thanks Blog Hop

Shery of STAMPlorations along with her team of designers have got together
with a whole party of uber talented designers to create projects that
express gratitude and thanks. I am delighted to support Shery and the team
in this thoughtful and thankful initiative using products by STAMPlorations.

I do hope you'll pop over to the main Less is More blog HERE
as there's a link to all the designers taking part as well as a link
to enter your own projects and be in with a chance of some prizes!

So if you have some STAMPloration goodies in your stash why not join us!

To be honest I don't own that many items by them apart from a few stencils
so I grabbed this gorgeous circular one and blended Distress inks in some
Autumnal tones including a little pinky purple for Halloween time!
I decided to slice the stencilled panel in half for added interest and adhered
it to my card base on fun foam with a strip of gold glitter card between.
The circles were then drizzled with glamour dust and a die-cut sentiment
by WPlus9

I hope you feel inspired to play along and don't forget to check out
my teamies creations over at Less is More HERE

As always thanks for calling by and I'll catch up with you again soon!
