Uniko - Reveal, Release and GIVEAWAY Blog Hop - December 2018

Hi there friends and thanks for visiting today!

No doubt you've been following the Uniko blog over the last week and noticed a slight change to the usual build up to a new release, in that Bev alone has been presenting and introducing the new goodies! I think being so close to Christmas she took pity on the Design Team, however I still managed to make rather a lot of cards with this release, which helped tremendously in my frantic Christmas card production line!!!

So you've had the Sneaky Peeks and Introductions, courtesy of Bev and now we have the BIG Reveal, Release and GIVEAWAY of this month's new stamp sets and stencils from Uniko

Here's my cards showcasing these fabulous sets and they are now available in the shop HERE and waiting for you to buy!

If you follow my blog (not that there's been much happening in the last few months) I do have a tendency to get 'fixated' on colour schemes ... especially when working towards a release day of new sets so here goes with some examples from my colour combo for this one and I'll share more on my Instagram page over the week.

First up with Snowflake Serenade:

Next up the Pure Florals Peony and I do hope to manage some coloured examples with this one as and when I've more time but I think it looks equally stunning in black and white. I thought a set like this would be great as a gift:

Following on with the same colour combo I've a few examples with the Wonderful Day stamp set although I've still to try out the 'wonderful' sentiments included in the set!

Lastly here's a couple of examples with the festive stencils; 'In the Forest' and 'Let it Snow' - you'll notice I've switched the colour scheme for these ... when you're in a rush, as I was, with Christmas card creations then stencils are definitely a quick and easy go-to solution!

Most of these were made in batches using Distress Oxide inks through the stencils in 'Blueprint Sketch' 'Peacock Feathers' 'Mermaid Lagoon' and 'Wilted Violet'. Once I'd cleaned the stencil I used Tonic Glimmer paste over the top to add extra texture and sparkle.

In total I think I made 5 panels using each stencil and if you check Instagram over the week I guess I was having a competition with myself to see how many cards I could make from each panel!

and

All that's left for me to do now is set you off on the traditional Design Team Blog Hop and wish you luck. All the details are over on the Uniko blog HERE so if you get lost along the way just head back there.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like what you've seen these last few days. I'm not sure whether I'll have chance to post anything else on my blog before Christmas so just in case...

I'd like to wish all my faithful followers and blog buddies a very festive Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

Finally, here's the FULL images of the sets we've been showcasing!
