Hi All
Pretty hectic week this week so sorry not been around much and I'm just flying in with a really quick post as I'm off out in a minute.
It's a card to enter a few 'floral' challenges which seem to be the rage at the moment so here it is:
Card Recipe:
Image & Congrats word Die: Clearly Besotted (Bridal Bouquet stamp & die set)
Uniko - Background Builders Vines for the mini dots to the flowers
Papers: Papermania textured card
MFT Die-namics: Snow scene border die
Twine from my stash
Challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Monday Challenge: Botanical
Clearly Besotted - Colour Challenge
The Paper Players: Florals
Thanks for stopping by it's much appreciated and sorry it's such a rush.
That's a pretty card Sarah

ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, Sarah - such a nice design! Thank you so much for playing along with the Clearly Besotted Challenge :) x
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! Love this card, really fresh colours too!
ReplyDeleteI don't do video tutorials honey, but this is a link to where I found one of the best tutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gK-eQNFGxKU
Word of warning though - the Metric measurements are fine (she got one wrong on the Imperial ones). PLUS, it's better when you score right across the card, to create the line that the flaps will fall from. to miss out the panel next to the 'tab' as that piece forms the back and really you don't want to crease it - although designer paper will obviously restore the rigidity. Are you in touch with Sarn at all? She has some very good written instructions for her card class and am sure she would let you have a copy.
Having written all this perhaps I need to get the video camera out and have a play! :)
Hugs, Di xx
Sarah, I love how you managed to shape the sentiment to fit the cut of the DSP. Fabulous card. So glad you joined the Paper Players this week
