HMMMM! ANYONE FOR MINT CHOCOLATES?

Morning All.
Thanks for stopping by and HUGE apologies I've not posted all week!
In fact I can't believe we are round to Saturday already.
Crazy week at work is my only excuse but thankfully I'm feeling loads better.

So this week at Less is More we have a colour theme - Chocolate Mint
Don't know about you but I love anything of the chocolate mint variety
so these makes have had me salivating like crazy.
Sadly there wasn't a single After Dinner mint to be had in the house!

So first up I've kept it fairly simple with piece of 'mint' cardstock on a 'chocolate' card blank.
I'm going to have to catch up on some challenges with this one so
I've used the sketch from this week's CAS(E) This Sketch

The snippet of design paper is from Doodlebug ... Oh did I say 'snippet'????
Ok off to Pixies Snippet Playground as I've been missing for a few weeks.
The dragonfly is a stand-alone die from Clearly Besotted which is cut in 2 layers;
a luxurious layer/snippet of chocolate glitter card with an equally luxury layer of
mint green vellum beneath ... that means I can head over to Addicted to CAS
where the theme this week is 'Luxury'!

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted - Sweet Little Sentiments
and to finish off some sequins, pearls and a faceted pearl ...
you can't get more luxurious than that eh!

Ok the summer is almost over, kids are back at school but the sun is still out!
So out came my newly purchased So Sweet set from Clearly Besotted
and I couldn't resist making a delicious mint ice-cream cone with a chocolate flake!
Embellished with some yummy pearls from my stash and Winked with Stella.

Do you think my 'chocolate and mint-green' panel could pass as the awning over an
ice-cream parlour?!?!? If so I'm off to CASology where the theme is 'Under'
and it's an Anything Goes week at Addicted to Stamps & More so I'll head there too.

and just for good measure I'm off to Simon Says Stamp where it's

STAMPtember® ‘Stamp-It’ and Blog Hop

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

Phew! think I need to go and head out for an ice-cream now and a laze in the sun.

Ok so you all did amazing with the seaside challenge last week and I can't wait to see
what you create with our mint and chocolate colour scheme.

Catch you all soon and have a fun weekend.

                                                              Sarah
