It's Mothers' Day today in the UK
so hope all you lovely mothers out there have had a fabulous day.
We've been entertaining the mothers this weekend hence the late post!
... and having made not 1 but 2 cards for Merry Monday this week
(to stick to my New Years resolution) I've come to post them and the
gates are firmly shut on the challenge! The theme WAS monochrome blue.
Thankfully I'd combined them with sketch challenges so at least you know
I tried to fulfil my New Years promise!
First up is to link with this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge
Card Recipe:
Mini Baubles: Card-io mini stamp set
(stamped using various 'blue' memento inks then heat embossed with Ranger Clear EP)
Distress inks: Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Tumbled Glass
Sentiment: Uniko Studio - A Gift For You
MFT Die-Namics: Sentiment Strips
Next up is my entry for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch
Card Recipe:
Clearly Besotted: Christmas Sparkle & Let it Snow sets
Uniko Studio: Stunning Snowflakes
Again heat embossed in Ranger Clear EP before
inking with Distress Inks as above.
Sentiment: From Clearly Besotted - Little Pudding set
MFT Die-namics: Pierced rectangle dies
That's all from me for today but I'll be back tomorrow
with yet another Christmassy make.
Thanks for stopping by and catch you soon.
