Happy Birthday Sandie

Morning Craft buddies ... no your watches aren't wrong!
I'm sneaking in with an early post before
Less is More goes live to let you in on a little secret ....

We have a blog buddy birthday to celebrate today
for Sandie of London Days

Sandie and I have become quite close 'cyber' friends since ending up on 2
design teams together, but as well as these teams she's the administrator
on loads of others. While we are all busy cutting and sticking
she's organising challenges, blog posts, badges, photos and
generally keeping us all in the loop and organised.

So behind her back ...
the queen of challenges and watermarks Kylie Purtell
'little' me and funky and fabulous Sarah of Funky Fossil Designs
got our heads together to organise a linky birthday party
in honour of this super talented, fun, and special lady.

Here's my card for Sandie and it's cringe-worthy!
I made it for a GDT post but couldn't bring myself to use it a few weeks ago.
I seem to have lost the knack (if I ever had it) of using patterned papers
and layers BUT just for a laugh with Sandie, who equally dreads patterns and layers
here it is ....

The sentiment says it all!

I then decided to add a few more elegant and CAS touches ;-)
just for the fun of it and here's the revised version winging it's way to Sandie!

We'd like to invite you to join the party fun and help to make Sandie
feel extra-special on her day by making a card and linking up at the party.

Here's the link and it's hosted at Kylie's blog
Kylie is Addicted to Stamps
because she's brilliant at this kind of thing ... and ...
Sarah and I 'crushed' her until she said YES!

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post and hope you'll
join our birthday party for Sandie soon.

I will be back later with details of the Less is More Challenge
so you can turn over and nap for another hour!

I gave Sandie another surprise this morning. I looked up her phone number and gave her a call. Sang happy birthday and everything (poor Sandie). It was so good to hear her voice again. xx
