Happy Dolphin

Hello Friends ... before I share my card I have to say you are the best
buddies anyone could wish for and you are all AWESOME!

Having felt a bit down in the dumps recently, lacking mojo
and just generally fed up of the tip in my house I received some
encouraging and sweet comments yesterday and I'm truly grateful!
In fact, you've all spurred me on to create a card today ... well a couple
but some are under wraps for now!

Using the current sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch and
the theme, 'Precious' at CASology I'm going with wildlife.

Perhaps not the dolphin but some species are in danger of extinction so having
received this gorgeous cheery set from the latest release at Clearly Besotted
I couldn't resist inking it up!

Having stamped and heat-embossed the ripple and splashes in
Hero Arts white embossing powder, I stamped and masked the dolphin.
Using a circular stencil as a mask I've inked a background with
Distress inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass.
The dolphin is coloured using Zig Clear Brush Pens and I used the same
distress inks to create the sentiment strip which is die cut using the
Scalloped Border dies from Clearly besotted.

Thanks as always for popping by my blog and hopefully
I'll have some more to share later this week.

  10. This is so cute, Sarah! I love it! I am so sorry to hear you have been down lately. I definitely think your mojo was working here though! Thank you for your comment on my blog this morning. I haven't changed my storage from the AE pockets but before they were invented I used the TH ones for my PTI stamps. I didn't want to change everything over so I kept them in those. I also keep larger sets in them too. They are made to be in a binder but I just keep them in a box like the AE ones :) xx
