Hi there friends it's time to dust off and revisit a previously released
Here's the image of the set and you'll see the flowers are
simply awesome and great for adding colour with all sorts of mediums
Just to show that you can use the images without colouring here's another
card as I'm slightly addicted to removing watercolour pigment with clear water!
To add a little interest to the card base I've stamped the outline flower around
the edges. The 'inner' panel is coloured using distress inks then more outline images
added just at the base. I've added water to the petals of each of the blooms with a
paint brush to remove the colour ever so slightly and added a sentiment from
Paradise Humming Bird with a few sequins from my stash.
As usual there's more gorgeous creations by my fellow teamies over on the Uniko blog
HERE plus details of the blog hop and how to win the set plus a £10 eGift Certificate.
Good luck and have fun!
Another couple of gorgeous cards Sarah. Wow...adore the bright colours on the first and the bunny is a real cutie. But the sophistication and elegance of the second card is so, so beautiful.

Sarah these are beautiful !
ReplyDeleteLove the bunny with the flowers !
Wow very careful masking for your bunny card - impressive! I do like how you've used the single stamp to make a background for your second card. The black really helps the other colours pop. I may have to try the distress ink/water brush technique! X
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Sarah, I love the combined flowers with bunny, and the beautiful peachy card too, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWho's a clever bunny then...Brilliant Sarah..great use of the stamps and your imagination too!!Love that vibrant orange on the first one and your background on the second, both so different but both fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteVery clever idea to combo this with the bunny!! Love how you outlined the second card with the flowers x
ReplyDeleteGlad to see the bunny has 'hopped' on to your first card :) Fabulous masking and I adore the gorgeous colours on your second! Beautiful x
ReplyDeleteI really think you can read my mind sometimes - LOL! I have had an idea of pairing the bunny with the flowers for some time now but hadn't got round to doing it and ta dah! You do it and even better than I could too :) I love the contrast of black and white with the beautifully coloured panel, wish I had the patience to do more interesting inked BG like you. FABULOUS showcase of this set. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteMade me smile to see how the bunny is using the flowers to preserve his modesty and the combo of colour and black outline flowers on the second is stunning!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards, and the second one has truly caught my eye. Love how you layered and selectively colored those flowers.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun - your first card with the bunny peeking out behind those flowers! But your second card is a real stunner!!!! Wish I could have thought of that...

ReplyDeleteYou're so creative, Sarah. The bunny with the blooms is fabulous, love the bright orange and awesome masking. And that blend on your second card is just deelish! Really pops out against the monochrome border. You really are blowing me away with your designs, they just get better and better xx
ReplyDeleteWow! Great stamp set and beautiful cards!!! Simply gorgeus!!!
ReplyDeleteYour first card shows just how well the different sets combine together and makes a great Easter card. I love the second card mostly because I'm a sucker for using different techniques and the flowers look so soft and pretty after removing some of the colour. (BTW: The link to your post from the Uniko blog doesn't work so had to search for the post) Stef x
