Less is More #271

Morning friends are you ready for that Saturday morning
challenge time over at Less is More? I hope so as that's why I'm here
to let you know what it's all about this week! Can I hear some of you groan
already? Yep! It's that One Layer card week again and we'd like to see

Geometric patterns

Here's my examples and I hope you'll hop, skip and jump across to the main
Less is More blog HERE where my teamies have worked their usual magic so
loads more inspiration there too. Hope you'll feel inspired to play along and have fun!

So Uniko is our sponsor for this month so I decided to dig out one of
the older sets here to make my geometric pattern - Background Builders: Circles
I've randomly stamped one of the stamps in vibrant chalk inks with a sentiment
combo using All Occasion Sentiments #2 and Simply Said - Birthday
To finish a couple of Doodlebug enamel dots, a hand-drawn black border line
and a corner chomp to 2 opposite corners.

We're also introducing a new stamp set from Uniko a little later so hope you'll
call back to take a look following the sneaky peeks yesterday.

Simon Says Stamp is celebrating 7 years! So there's loads of extra prizes
over at the Wednesday Challenge blog and the theme is 'Happy Birthday'
so you can guess where I'm heading with these!

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog

This time it's just the sentiment from Uniko: Simply Said - Birthday.
I started out by sponging a rainbow using the Ranger dye inks then stamped
various stars from the Winnie & Walter Scenery: Big, Bang Confetti stamps set.
I used the same inks to stamp them then randomly coated the larger stars with
Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents. A couple more sparkly Doodlebug sprinkles
and hand-drawn lines complete my one layer card.

I did make another card but decided to 'pull' it as a couple of my teamies
also went for the Multi-Faceted Look! BUT I've re-hashed it and it'll be
on my AAA Cards Challenge post tomorrow morning if you want to
check it out there!

Thanks as always for calling by and I do hope you'll pop back later
to see the introduction to the yummy cup-cake set from Uniko!
