Muse Challenge #182

Hi there friends my Less is More teamie Anita is the MUSE
this week and her card is just too spectacular not to Case.
In fact I had so much fun inky blending my balloons that
I just couldn't stop!

Unlike Anita I don't have the balloon stencil :( so I had to be resourceful
with my stash by creating my own from acetate using some large and small
balloon dies from Paper Smooches. I think I've used the same Distress inks
to blend, which happen to be some of my favourites too (Wilted Violet, Peacock
Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Twisted Citron). I decided to give the balloons
a little spritz of Perfect Pearls and water as I'd inked them on watercolour card.

Instead of the 'Happy' die which again I don't own! I used a stitched cloud
border die from Mama Elephant and stamped a bold greeting from
Clearly Besotted: Brushed Greetings II. To finish I die-cut the panel with a
stitched rectangle and added a few colour-coordinated sprinkles by Doodlebug!

Here's Anita's stunning creation

I'd also like to link my card up at Happy Little Stampers - CAS Challenge
where the theme for this month is watercolour spritz. I'm hoping as I've
used Distress inks then added my favourite spritz of water and perfect pearls
to lift some of the colour away that it works there too.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope to catch up with you tomorrow
when I've a couple of posts scheduled too.

  12. So many lightbulb (aha) moments; thank you for enlightening me - yes, I could have made my own stencil; yes, I could have chosen a different border die for the bottom panel; Love your interpretation of Anita's MUSE card.
