Happy December friends - that's quite scary don't you think?
For both cards I've used the Background Builders: Round in Circles set
along with sentiments from Simply Said Birthday and All Occasion Sentiments #1
(all from Uniko). So the top one is rather bold and bright featuring all the 3
primary shades. In contrast I stuck to just blues on the second one so it's
much more subtle.
It's an Anything Goes Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge
this week so I'm heading over there with my first card.
and just for good measure I couldn't resist adding a Christmas card into the mix
... using just red with a touch of white, black and silver as my neutral colours.
This one uses Mixed Media Fun from the latest release from
Happy Little Stampers plus a sentiment from their Mixed Christmas Sentiments.
The baubles are created using circle dies and a Christmas ornament top piece,
stitched details to the red panel from MFT die-namics Homespun Stitched Line dies.
I love geometrics but never seem to get a design together with them, you rock it every time! And those baubles, loving those little ornament top pieces, not seen those before. Fantabulous! xx
ReplyDeleteFantastic cards as always, Sarah! I love the background builder circles, and I can't believe how fab they look both in primaries and just in blues - obviously a very versatile and useful stamp set. The Christmas card is stunning with the bold red background and decorated baubles. Awesome inspiration! Have a fab weekend x
ReplyDeleteWhat a showcase! The versatility of the Unico background builder circles is awesome and they have a very different feel but equally as stunning in vibrant and muted colour pallettes. Would love to see them in bokeh mode with white pigment ink. Watch out Santa...another addition to the list is on its way! The Christmas card is very elegant and classy too. Oh! Did you say the magic phrase 'mixed media fun' .... here we go again Santa 😉 xx
ReplyDeleteYou have really showcased the Uniko background builder circles brilliantly here, Sarah! I love the vibrant first card - the bold sentiment works perfectly with the bright colours and the variation of blue tones on the second card provide a great contrast. Those mixed media baubles are just inspired too.....what a great way to use them! I hope you have a wonderful weekend x
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Sarah !!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome geometric cards and the colours really do pair well with Uniko's BB: Round In Circles. Those little bauble clips are so cute and loving the pattern on the baubles. A fabulous CAS trio. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful trio of festive cards. I love all those wonderful circles, just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteWhat terrific card and great use of primary colors! Perfect inspiration!
ReplyDelete3 wonderful designs, Sarah! My favorite is that blue one because we don't see enough of that particular blue! Thanks for joining us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the stamps, it looks so different. I think my fav is the blue one.
ReplyDeleteStunning cards as usual Sarah ! I love these circles stamps from Uniko ! It seems that you inspired a lot of people with your card, the stamp set is already out of stock ! Thanks for sharing and for inspiring.

You're on a roll with these colours. I love the first card with the bold colours, but it's the shades of blue on the second card that I absolutely love! Great work.
