Honey I Shrunk The Kit #10

Hey there friends, I'm here on another day out with my fellow Honey Babes for
another HISTK post! What's more we've another 'babe' joining us this year ...

Less is More and HLS CAS Challenge

Anita of Neet & Crafty

Honey I Shrunk the Kit logo

Our host for this outing was another fellow teamie at Less is More and Uniko;
Sarah G and she was certainly feeling all loved up and romantic when she
put this beautiful kit together, which she's named 'Heartfelt'

I couldn't wait to get playing with all these yummy goodies and today
I simply can't wait to zip around the other blogs to see what's been created!

Here's the line up

Hazel Hodgkins: Hazel's Paper Designs
Sarah Gray: Funky Fossil Designs
Shona Chambers: Twine Around
Sandie Munroe: London Days
Anita Bowden: Neet & Crafty
Sarah Platt: Sazzle Dazzle Crafts ... that's ME!

... and here's a picture of Sarah's goody bag and the list of contents

Image may contain: text

Supplies:
"There are a range of images in the kit including Mama Elephant, Winnie & Walter,
Paper Smooches and Neat and Tangled.
The die cuts are from Simon Says Stamp, Avery Elle & Tonic. "

and here's my cards but once again I struggle to keep these HISTK cards CAS.
In trying to use every little element I end up forgetting that white space!

So most CAS to begin with

Using one of my WeR Memory Keepers embossing folders I've created
a 'wave' texture to some black card stock ... no idea why this goes with
hearts but I liked it! So using the chipboard hearts, sending word die and
I snipped the 'U' off the Love sentiment, added a strip of glitter paper beneath
and a couple of sequins ... DONE!

I stuck with the flowers but skipped the hearts here!
I fuzzy cut the floral bouquets (over snipped actually - ooops!)
Coloured with Promarkers and mounted on 3d foam along with the
die-cut 'You' on top of one of the paper doilies. I then heat-embossed
the 'Thank' from Winnie & Walter in white onto black card.

I'd like to pop this one in at Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge
where it's Anything Goes this week!

Totally OTT with love and hearts here! There were so many
heart die cuts in the kit that I couldn't resist layering them up here.
I've fuzzy cut the 'love' sentiment and added a die-cut 'You' from
WPlus9 then once again mounted on 3d foam onto another doily.
To add a little interest to the pink cardstock from the kit I've added a
stitched border to one edge.

Yikes I have this faceted Heart die but not the stamp so I
was grinning from ear to ear when this dropped out of the little
packet. The patterned paper has such delicate pink and green tones
with a dash of lime green so I decided to watercolour the heart
with distress inks in Tattered Rose, Hickory Smoke, Cracked Pistachio
and Twisted Citron. I even inked the edges of my card base in the
Cracked Pistachio and added a couple of coordinating enamel dots by Doodlebug.

Last but not least and these bits were simply shouting 'Shake me!'

Using the flower power #1 set by Uniko I've stamped a
tone on tone floral print on the heart frame, added all the
teeny die-cut hearts inside the shaker with some seed beads. The
second piece of patterned paper is behind with lots of heartfelt words.
I've fuzzy cut those adorable bunnies and coloured them with zig clear
brush pens then added the 'bunny' sentiment below.

Thanks for this adorable pack of goodies Sarah and thankfully I've
a few months to think out how I'm going to compete!!!

As always thanks for calling by and I'm off to check out what the
rest of my teamies have made with this fantastic bundle.

Uniko - Introducing Uniko Style

Hello there friends, thanks for coming back again today as we share
the last of our introductions over at

Uniko

for the 5th Birthday release sets and the name of this beauty is
Uniko Style and Bev certainly knows how to work those florals!

I've used mainly images from the Uniko Style set here but pinched a
couple from the Originally Organic Additions, featured earlier this week, plus
sentiments from the All Occasion Sentiments #6 and Celebrate with Cake sets.
To highlight those black centres of the flowers I've winked them with Stella
and glossed them with accents for shine too!

I googled the Marimekko designs, which this set is based on and found
some gorgeous blue coloured blooms - this hasn't appeared as dark as I'd
have liked but I still love the bold design, again I've pinched another
of those wonderful friendship sentiments from Originally Organic Additions!

so I'm heading over there with this one!

you need can be found over on the Uniko blog HERE as well as links and peeks

Uniko - Introducing Explosion! Additions

Hello there friends, it's time for some more Introductions over at

Uniko

and today we have the next set in our 5th birthday release, called
Explosion! Additions set. If you've been a customer and follower of Uniko
for much of the last 5 years you'll see this set is a perfect accompaniment to the
previously released Explosion set and great for those kids and guys!

For this one I've heat-embossed the bold sentiment and some of the images
from both the original Explosion set and this new one in WOW Metallic Silver
sparkle EP over the top of some of the new images stamped directly on the
card panel in a subtle grey shade. The sentiment is fuzzy cut and popped up on
3d foam and I've added some additional starts from the Balloon Bash set!

This time I created a cartoon style collage of bold sentiments and images to
create a BG for my front panel. The stars were die-cut from a heat-embossed
panel of the half-tone BG stamp we introduced yesterday.

So we've just got one more day of intros before the BIG 5th birthday release and
you'll find schedule and all other details over on the Uniko blog HERE as well
as links and peeks at how my fellow teamies have worked their magic!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll pop back again tomorrow!

Uniko - Introducing Background Blocks Halftone

Hello there friends, it's time for Day 3 of Introductions over at

Uniko

as we get ready for this month's 5th Birthday release of new stamps!

Today we are introducing you to the Background Blocks Halftone
set and here's how I've been playing!

Having stamped the background onto cardstock I've die-cut the panel
with various sizes of circles. Popped them randomly on the card behind
the foam-mounted sentiment panel. This bold Happy Birthday sentiment
is also Uniko and from the very first All Occasion Sentiments set #1

Here's a naughty little peek at another set that'll be featured later in the
week - you'll just have to keep calling by to see more! This card shows
how the half-tone panel stamps and I couldn't resist trying it out in
trademark Uniko colours! The sentiments are also from various Uniko
sets and the flower head .... well you'll just have to wait and see!!!

The release schedule can be found over on the Uniko blog HERE as well
as links and peeks at how my fellow teamies have worked their magic!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for more!

Uniko - Introducing Originally Organics Additions

Hello there friends, it's time for some more Introductions over at

Uniko

and here's day 2 of the birthday release intros, called Originally Organics
Additions set. You may have seen something similar recently as a digital image
but there's lots of added extras in this set to create elegant and feminine cards.
Here's how I've been playing and as luck would have it I needed a card for my
Mum's birthday yesterday ...

The flower heads are stamped using Altenew inks with the foliage coloured using
Promarkers. I've added a die-cut 'sending' sentiment by Simon Says Stamp;
the other sentiments are by Uniko from the Simply Said and Garlands Galore sets

This week's challenge over at Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday is
Fantastic Florals so I think these deserve a little trip over there!

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog Logo

Same colourway but a slightly different layout here with the main image
stamped twice and just off the panel at the top and bottom. The set has
some gorgeous friendship sentiments and this is one of them.

Ok I hope you'll pop back for Day 3 tomorrow and in the meantime
the release schedule can be found over on the Uniko blog HERE as well
as links and peeks at how my fellow teamies have worked their magic!

Thanks for stopping

Uniko - Introducing Block Party Birthday

Hello there friends, it's time for some Introductions over at

Uniko

as we get ready for this month's release of new stamps to
celebrate Uniko's 5th Birthday! Woo-Hoo!

First up, we are introducing you to the Block Party Birthday set and  here's how
I've played. I hope this has whet your appetite for more!

For this one it's a little inky blending with Distress inks over the heat-embossed
stamped image. The colours are Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon
and Peacock Feathers.

I made this one and was all ready to feature it over on the Uniko post but noticed a couple
of the teamies had done similar so it's hidden away here! It's great for a one layer
card as I've done here; simply inked in Memento Tuxedo black then coloured with
Promarkers. I couldn't bring myself to crop the panel but there's lots of possibilities.

The release schedule can be found over on the Uniko blog HERE as well
as links and peeks at how my fellow teamies have worked their magic!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for the
we roll out the other birthday sets!

Hello there friends, it's time for another challenge over at
AAA CAS Cards

The theme for this one is 'watercolour' and here's my card followed by a
little photo inspiration for you too ...

Our sponsor for this one is Uniko and I couldn't resist playing with the
Beautiful Blooms III set here. The flowers are watercoloured using
distress inks then fuzzy cut and mounted on 3d foam. The sentiment
is from the Simply Said II set, also by Uniko

It's a Clean and Simple week over at Addicted to Stamps and More so
I'm heading over there with this card plus at Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday
Challenge it's all about fabulous florals so I can't resist an outing there too.
