Our host for this outing was another fellow teamie at Less is More and Uniko;
Sarah G and she was certainly feeling all loved up and romantic when she
put this beautiful kit together, which she's named 'Heartfelt'

I couldn't wait to get playing with all these yummy goodies and today
I simply can't wait to zip around the other blogs to see what's been created!

Here's the line up

Hazel Hodgkins: Hazel's Paper Designs
Sarah Gray: Funky Fossil Designs
Shona Chambers: Twine Around
Sandie Munroe: London Days
Anita Bowden: Neet & Crafty
Sarah Platt: Sazzle Dazzle Crafts ... that's ME!

... and here's a picture of Sarah's goody bag and the list of contents

Supplies:
"There are a range of images in the kit including Mama Elephant, Winnie & Walter,
Paper Smooches and Neat and Tangled.
The die cuts are from Simon Says Stamp, Avery Elle & Tonic. "

and here's my cards but once again I struggle to keep these HISTK cards CAS.
In trying to use every little element I end up forgetting that white space!

So most CAS to begin with

Using one of my WeR Memory Keepers embossing folders I've created
a 'wave' texture to some black card stock ... no idea why this goes with
hearts but I liked it! So using the chipboard hearts, sending word die and
I snipped the 'U' off the Love sentiment, added a strip of glitter paper beneath
and a couple of sequins ... DONE!

I stuck with the flowers but skipped the hearts here!
I fuzzy cut the floral bouquets (over snipped actually - ooops!)
Coloured with Promarkers and mounted on 3d foam along with the
die-cut 'You' on top of one of the paper doilies. I then heat-embossed
the 'Thank' from Winnie & Walter in white onto black card.

I'd like to pop this one in at Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge
where it's Anything Goes this week!

Totally OTT with love and hearts here! There were so many
heart die cuts in the kit that I couldn't resist layering them up here.
I've fuzzy cut the 'love' sentiment and added a die-cut 'You' from
WPlus9 then once again mounted on 3d foam onto another doily.
To add a little interest to the pink cardstock from the kit I've added a
stitched border to one edge.

Yikes I have this faceted Heart die but not the stamp so I
was grinning from ear to ear when this dropped out of the little
packet. The patterned paper has such delicate pink and green tones
with a dash of lime green so I decided to watercolour the heart
with distress inks in Tattered Rose, Hickory Smoke, Cracked Pistachio
and Twisted Citron. I even inked the edges of my card base in the
Cracked Pistachio and added a couple of coordinating enamel dots by Doodlebug.

Last but not least and these bits were simply shouting 'Shake me!'

Using the flower power #1 set by Uniko I've stamped a
tone on tone floral print on the heart frame, added all the
teeny die-cut hearts inside the shaker with some seed beads. The
second piece of patterned paper is behind with lots of heartfelt words.
I've fuzzy cut those adorable bunnies and coloured them with zig clear
brush pens then added the 'bunny' sentiment below.

Thanks for this adorable pack of goodies Sarah and thankfully I've
a few months to think out how I'm going to compete!!!

As always thanks for calling by and I'm off to check out what the
rest of my teamies have made with this fantastic bundle.

  2. Wow - you have been super busy with this kit, Sarah - so glad that you liked it :) I just love what you did with it - those heart embellishments really pop against the black and the added texture is perfect. Your thank you card looks so vibrant with your fab pro marker colouring and the multi heart card is definitely loved up! The colours you used on the faceted heart look great with the patterned paper and I love that sweet shaker too. So much inspiration - I wish that I had seen your cards before I started :)

  3. Eeeekkk!! Absolutely brilliant cards Sarah! Love that embossing folder you used on your first card, such a cool background and the black makes those red hearts pop. So funny we did the same thing with the florals, they look fantastic with the doily. Such a cool idea to layer all those heart die-cuts, I didn't use all mine. Love the colours you used to colour the heart, its so pretty and matches the paper perfectly. And your shaker finale is brillant, you coloured your bunnies so much better than mine. I'm next on the list for the kit and I have NO IDEA how I can top this kit. Need to sit down somewhere quiet and go thru what I have....wish me luck!

  4. Awww, thanks for the lovely welcome, teamie x 3 #blushing!
Well, where do I start....the placement of the red wooden hearts is inspired and that embossing folder looks terrific on black, why do I always grab white?! Loving your doily card, so pretty with the colourful flowers and the little black border on two sides is a lovely touch. I love how you place your panels, the third one looks fab with three white edges showing, and a lovely cluster of hearts (I still have some left!). I didn't use the heart paper but this was a genius idea to colour the faceted heart to co-ordinate. And your shaker card is so sweet, wonderful shading on those bunnies! So glad I'm part of this team xx

  6. Sorry I am so late popping by, Sarah. Am slowly catching up with things after hitting the health skids... anyway, a visit to my honeys is just the medicine, and as always, I am wowed out of the park with your glorious creations! Love, love, love that dramatic black and red creation; am wishing I hadn't spoiled one of my flower images (colour fail) so that I could have CASed that floral doily card. Your trio of hearts and geo heart card with its creative use of dsp rocks, and finally, that shaker card is totally adorbs!! What a glorious, heartfelt collection of cards! Wow!!
