Less is More #349

Morning friends!

Hey where did September go? The start of a new month already which means over at Less is More it's time to announce our first challenge in the month, which is a colour one, along with our Sponsor for October! We're delighted to welcome back and thank Bev of Uniko for her support and generosity of our challenges.

Here's the colour scheme and quite an appropriate bundle of colours for this season don't you think:

I couldn't resist showcasing some Uniko stamps and here I've inked up the Background Block - Horizontal stripes in my hot and spicy colours from Altenew before adding an outline image from the Originally Organics set. To finish a cute mini sentiment just tucks in beneath the leaf and that's from the Simply Said range.

One more card from me today and again inspired by Uniko stamps, this time the Beautiful Blooms III. Having heat embossed the outline images in WOW Rich Gold embossing powder I've used Altenew inks to add the different layers to the blooms, fuzzy cutting 2 of them for extra interest, with a sentiment from last month's release Simply Said Blocks.

As always there's loads of fabulous designs from my fellow teamies over on the main blog HERE and if you'd like to be in with a shout of a prize from our sponsor, Uniko then do play along each week.

Hope you'll play along and have some fun and thanks for calling by today and if you are in Port Sunlight for the craft show today then do pop along to the Uniko stand where I'll be assisting Bev.

  1. Wow Sarah... Such beautiful floral cards and with two totally different looks! I own the set you used in your second card -I'd need a tutorial from you because I have trouble layering the images! I love the dramatic black card base. The hot and spicy stripes in your first card look so contemporary and stylish and the black outline flower on top of them is just perfect. Enjoy your weekend with Izzy!

  2. Wow love them both, great hot colours and fabulous layouts x

  3. Both cards are beautiful Sarah, love the colours used.

  4. Loving your graphic stripes with the organic blooms, Sarah - what a great combination and your stamping is perfect as always! I love the rich colours that you have used with the blooms on your second card and the way that they pop against the dark card base. You have showcased Uniko perfectly with these two gorgeous designs! I hope all is well with you x

  5. Those orange blooms are gorgeous, Sarah ... love how you have them peeking over from the white panel to the black ... so dramatic and bold! LOVE those ombré stripes ... the Originally Organic flower spray is one of my current favourites and it looks fantastic left as line art against these delicious colours! Hugs, Anita :)

  6. Gorgeous cards, love the colours and the outline stamp of the top one :)
    Hugs Kaz xx

  7. Wow!!!! Just got to say right off that your dramatic, elegant and classy second card has blown me away Sarah! Beautiful stamps in fab colours and that black and white backdrop is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. On your first card the background blocks look so good in a set of ombre colours - and snap on the use of that particular stamp (hehehe). Have a great week xx

  8. OMG ! Two gorgeous cards with the Uniko stamps, Sarah ! Love the clean and simple design with the coloured stripes and the black organic blooms ! And your second card is so eye catching with the contrast of the bright and vibrant blooms against the black card ! So stunning ! Hope you feel better ! Have a fabulous week !

  9. Wow, your colors really pop! Both cards are just amazing! Love them!

  10. These are two gorgeous cards ! The second one, with that awesome color combo, is just perfect !
