Hi there friends, are you ready for Day 2 of our introductions to the new release goodies from Uniko? I hope so as there's more ...
Today we're introducing another Large Background stamp called Tropical Paradise and as you might have guessed this one teams brilliantly with some of the previously released Paradise sets and here's how I played with them - a trio of 'same but different' and featuring some sentiments from yesterday's introduction too.
The release schedule, can be found over on the Uniko blog HERE as well as links and peeks at how my fellow teamies have worked their magic! As well as the regular Design Team we're also joined by the delightful and super talented Keren Baker so do pop along and visit her blog - you won't be disappointed.

This one was stamped onto watercolour card using Versamark ink then heat embossed with white embossing powder from Hero Arts before inky blending with Distress Oxides. To finish 2 little flag style sentiment banners for my tropical Toucan to perch on!
For this one the image was stamped using a green ink from Altenew - sorry not sure which one, before colouring with Promarkers. Toucan and sentiment strips to coordinate as above.
... and lastly a simple tone on tone stamping effect using the Altenew Galactic Stream ink then adding my coordinating (somewhat un-naturally coloured) toucan and sentiment banners!

Three cards with the same layout but 3 totally different looks, a fab showcase Sarah. :)
ReplyDeleteVery versatile use of different colours. I'm really liking the yellow to pink one! x
ReplyDeleteVery cool cards, love the tropical colours, Liz x
ReplyDeleteYour trio of 'same, but different' = gorgeous! Love the palette varieties and your colouring of the toucan is simply marvelous! I'm pathetic at fussy-cutting but...he'll make an appearance on at least one (maybe two) of my cards down the road!

PS. Thanks for the enamel dots info; I need to load up *grin*
gosh, these cards are so pretty - love the wonderful background colors
ReplyDeleteLove these ..... they might all be the same design but they all look so different. Love the tone on tone xx
ReplyDeleteAmazing how different the cards look! Great idea to change the colour palette and the used techniques and keep the layout for several cards.
ReplyDeleteLove, how the Toucan is "sitting" on the sentiment stripes!
Hugs & greetings, Wiebke
