Uniko - Revisit Blog Hop January 2021

Hi there friends

With this being my first post of 2021 I'm wishing you all a very Happy New Year too!

It's a REVIST month over at Uniko where Bev asks us to 'dig out', dust down and bring a previously released set back into the spotlight! This time she's chosen the Hello Lovely set which was released last January.

I decided to go with some BOLD and BRIGHT colour blocking as I figured we all need cheering up these days and these colours certainly pop for me and make me smile. It's not a trio of colours I've combined before but it was a case of dip, dip, dip in my box of coloured card to see what I came up with!

The beauty of this technique is you can make a bunch of cards all at the same time and they're pretty quick. Once I'd chosen my colours I heat embossed the image onto each of the 3 cardstock panels, sliced each one equally in 3 and popped them on a card base.

In hindsight I could have made this quicker / easier for myself by stamping the sentiments at this point BUT I forgot so had to do a little bit of 'lining-up' embossing on separate card to then pop the sentiment die-cut exactly over the top of the original stamping.

Here's the other 2 cards I made at the same time ...

As is the tradition there's a blog hop giveaway; the prize being the Hello Lovely set and if you already own these items an alternative prize will be offered.

You'll find all the details over at Uniko HERE and here's the list of blogs you need to visit on the hop!
I wish you lots of luck!

Thanks for calling by and I hope you've enjoyed this revisit post. Catch up with you all again soon.
