Uniko Revisit Originally Organics & Additions - June 2017

Hello there fellow crafters it's a REVIST month over at Uniko where Bev askes us to 'dig out', dust down and bring a previously released set back into the spotlight!

This month it's the Originally Organics and Additions sets that she's asked us to revisit. What's more she's recently brought out matching dies for the first set so I've been playing around with those to create my cards ... in fact I've gone a little bit mad but hope you like my cards. I've teamed them with the recently released BG Block too; Horizontal Stripes.

As is the tradition there's a blog hop giveaway; the prize being the featured set or a gift card to the same value if you already own the set and here's the order to hop!

You'll find all the details including the links to to my teamies blogs and a sneaky peek at what they've created with this set over at Uniko HERE

Before I leave you to hop here's the image of the sets and as always thanks for visiting my blog today and I wish you lots of luck on the hop!

Uniko Challenge #41

Hello crafty friends it's that time again when we are announcing our latest challenge over at Uniko and The theme for this one is Masculine with the optional twist of  'Father's Day' and here's my card using the following Uniko sets; but not twisting this time:

Sweet Baby, BG Block - Half Tone and Simply Said for the 'welcome' sentiment

Over at Addicted to Stamps and More it's their 'Make Your Mark' challenge so I'd like to pop this on in there as well as Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge where it's a little bit of sparkle so hopefully my sequins will count!

... and I can't resist a two-fer so while the sets were out I did a girlie one ... NOT for the challenge at all; just for the fun of it. I replaced the half-tone BG with the Doodle Flower one and coloured the centres with Promarkers.

... and it's a 'PINK' challenge over at Addicted to CAS so I'm popping this little feminine version in over there!
As always there's plenty of fantastic creations by my fellow teamies, so why not head over to the Uniko blog HERE to check out the links and pay them a visit! I'm sure they'd appreciate it!

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Hannelie of Desert Diva who is one of our previous Uniko Challenge winners and an OUT-standing card maker. Do pop along and visit her blog and leave a friendly word and some love.

You have until Friday, 23rd June to link up to the challenge and all the details you need about prizes and how to play can be found over at Uniko HERE

As always thanks for calling by my blog today and I hope you feel inspired and will play along with us!

Uniko - Reveal, Release & GIVEAWAY May 2017

Hi there and thanks for visiting me again today!

So you've had the Sneaky Peeks and Introductions and now we have the BIG Reveal, Release and GIVEAWAY of this month's new stamp sets from Uniko

Here's my cards showcasing these fabulous sets and they are now available in the shop HERE and waiting for you to buy!

This one is similar to my previous card using Happy Succulent in rainbow colours but here I've used the Kuretake Gansai water colours to create a deeper and more dramatic colour way!

... and another one featuring the Happy Succulent set, this time watercoloured using Distress Inks

Here the Doodle Flower block background is watercoloured with Kuretake Zig Clear Brush markers. A popped up, fuzzy cut, embossed sentiment from the All Occasion Sentiments #1 set finishes this one.

I hope you've enjoyed the inspiration this week and are full of ideas of how to use these new goodies.

All that's left for me to do is set you off on the traditional Design Team Blog Hop and wish you luck.

The details are on the Uniko blog HERE so if you get lost along the way just head back there.

Sarah P - that's me!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like what you've seen these last few days and here's the FULL images of the sets we've been showcasing!

Uniko - Introducing Pure Florals: Lily

Hello there friends it's time for the final introductions for this month's release over at Uniko and I hope you've enjoyed what you've seen so far!

If you are a regular follower of Uniko you'll have an idea of what's in store for you today as we introduce the Pure Florals: Lily set. I think my favourite of the Pure Florals range has to be the Gerbera but I'm simply loving this one too and it's a great addition to the range. Lilys have to be my favourite bloom EVER - it's just a pity they make me sneeze so badly if I keep them in a vase inside.

I wanted to focus on the lily head for this card so kept the rest of the stamping in monochrome. The flower head is embossed and watercoloured using Distress Inks. The sentiment is also from the set which includes several others in this large curly font with coordinating ones in a basic type font.

This week's challenge over at Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday is 'A Touch of Pink' so I'd like to head over there with this one!

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog Logo

This next one includes the horizontal stripe background block, introduced earlier this week plus some masking, fuzzy cutting and water-colouring with Distress Inks.

Ok that completes the sneaky peeks and introductions for the week and tomorrow is the BIG REVEAL, RELEASE and BLOG HOP HERE so I hope you'll join me again then as we show you the sets in their entirety and you'll be able to purchase them both online at Uniko and at the Happy Stampers Festival in Port Sunlight tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll be back tomorrow

Uniko - Introducing Happy Succulents

Hi again, it's time for some more Introductions over at Uniko as we get ready for this month's release of new stamps!

I hope you liked the previews yesterday and today we are introducing you to Happy Succulents and here's how I've been playing!

This one is very minimal in colour to showcase the stamp itself which needs little, if anything, adding to the image as it's a clever succulent and foliage arrangement on it's own. The sentiments are also from this set.

This one is very minimal too and I've used one of the smaller stamps with masking around a circle. I wasn't sure how this would turn out but I quite like the overall shape. I've used spring coloured inks by Altenew and the centres of the little buds are from the Uniko Style set released back in February.

WARNING: grab your sunglasses ... from minimal colour to a rainbow riot!

Ok so the thinking behind this one ... I just can't resist rainbow colours plus being constantly inspired by the AWEsome Laura Bassen! Check out her video in THIS post! I had to grab some of that loosey-goosey watercolour effect she describes for my BG! Don't think mine's quite so 'loosey' though but I love all those rainbow colours merged using Distress Inks. Once dry the image and sentiments are heat embossed using Hero Arts white embossing powder and I think I've gone a little OTT with gems and enamel dots but that's rainbows for you ... I just get crazy!

The release schedule can be found over on the Uniko blog HERE as well as links and peeks at how my fellow teamies have worked their magic!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll be back tomorrow

Uniko Intros: Background Blocks Doodle Flower & Horizontal Stripe

Hello there friends, it's time for some Introductions over at Uniko as we get ready for this month's release of new stamps on Saturday!
Today we are introducing you to the first 2 sets, both of which are Background Blocks; Doodle Flower and Horizontal Stripe and here's how I've been playing!

I love this retro style floral image and it teams brilliantly with previously released florals in the Uniko range too but it suddenly made me think of the front of a notebook ... hence the sentiment which is from All Occasion Sentiments #1 and the notebook die-cut edge at the top of the panel.

The flowers are coloured with Promarkers and there's a couple of extra fuzzy cut ones for added interest plus a blob of glossy accents to the centres.

For this one I was inspired by this wonderful curly 'with heartfelt' font ... soon to be released, later in the week and decided to die-cut layers of hearts including the Doodle Flower panel, which was coloured with Promarkers and drizzled with glossy accents.

This one shows the Horizontal stripe block stamped with an ombre ink pad by Hero Arts. It looks like a paint chip swatch don't you think? Anyway I had a 'smile' die on my desk, from Lil'Inkers and decided to try a little shaker card.

I did a little stamp surgery to create the 'Time to Celebrate' sentiment which are from the Simply Said and Simply Said II sets by Uniko.

I hope this has whet your appetite for more and here's the schedule for the next few days

Introductions: 3rd -5th May: here you will see a closer look at the clear stamp sets being released with a daily blog hop with the Uniko DT.

Release Day!
Saturday 6th May 9am BST: you will get to see the products in their entirety and purchase them HERE on the website!

Uniko Challenge #40

Hello crafty friends it's that time again when we are announcing our latest
challenge over at

Uniko

The theme for this one is Spring with an optional twist of Easter

Here's my card using one of the older but stunningly beautiful florals:
Pure Florals - Gerbera. This would have to be my favourite Uniko bloom and
although it's perhaps a little earlier in the year for Gerbera flowers here in the UK
I've coloured it using Spring colours and to keep with the Easter twist I've combined
a sentiment from Some Bunny with the 'Happy' from Simply Said birthday.

As always there's plenty of fantastic creations by my fellow teamies,
so why not head over to the Uniko blog HERE to check out the links
and pay them a visit! I'm sure they'd appreciate it!

What's more we have 2 of our previous winners at Uniko Guest Designing for
this challenge. Their cards are real beauties so I hope you'll pop along and
pay them a visit. Here's the links you need for Marianne and Milka

need about prizes and how to play can be found over at Uniko HERE

Uniko REVIST Some Bunny - March 2017

Hello there fellow crafters it's a REVIST month over at

Uniko

where Bev askes us to 'dig out', dust down and bring a previously released
set back into the spotlight! This month it's the Spring favourite 'Some Bunny'
In fact I haven't used it as a spring-like card at all instead a Baby Welcome.

I've used the recently released Half-tone Background stamp behind my
heart shaped window, coloured the bunny with promarkers and added
a simple sentiment from the Simply Said range. The heart dies are by WPlus9.

As is the tradition there's a blog hop giveaway; the prize being the
featured set or a gift card to the same value if you already own it.

You'll find all the details including the links to to my teamies blogs
and a sneaky peek at what they've created over at Uniko HERE

Before I leave you to hop here's the image of the sets and as always thanks
for visiting my blog today and I wish you lots of luck on the hop!
