Uniko - Challenge #57

Hi there, I'm back with a little reminder about our current challenge over at Uniko where it's an 'Anything Goes' theme with the option to use COOL WINTER COLOURS.

Here's our Cue Card which we'd love to see you include in your post and you could use the image as a guide to your colour scheme.

I went more towards those blue tones using Zig clear brush pens and water to create my background followed by some embossed images and sentiments from the Reach for the Stars stamp set by Uniko.

As always there's plenty of fantastic creations by my fellow teamies, so why not head over to the Uniko blog HERE to check out the links and pay them a visit! I'm sure they'd appreciate it!

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the wonderfully talented Trina of Phamtastic Design who is one of our previous Uniko Challenge winners. Do pop along and visit her blog and leave a friendly word and some love.

You have until midnight (GMT) on Friday 21st February to link up to the challenge and all the details you need about prizes and how to play can be found over at Uniko HERE

As always thanks for calling by my blog today and I hope you feel inspired and will play along with us!

Uniko Reveal, Release and GIVEAWAY Blog Hop - February 2018

Hi there and thanks for visiting me again today!

We've made it through all those days of Sneaky Peeks and Introductions to bring you the BIG Reveal, Release and GIVEAWAY of this month's new products from Uniko and here's a few more of my creations showcasing these fabulous sets, which are now available in the shop HERE and waiting for you to buy!

I've gone all out rainbows on these first 2 using Zig Clear Brush pens to create a watery background! The first one uses the Kindness Blooms with a sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments and the second one uses the Background Blocks Party Confetti with a small sentiment from one of the older sets: Simply Said I

How about an inky blast featuring another sample from the Life is a Song set. I found this pre-prepared brusho inky panel and simple stamped it with the images then die-cut a heart using WPlus9 Heart stack then popping it back into the panel on fun foam. One of my sisters is a musician and I saw her for the first time in almost 18 months at the weekend so made a bumper pack of musical cards for her as a treat.

Next up, using the Kindness Blooms in a tone on tone style, stamped with Versamark ink then shimmered with a Tonic Nuvo Shimmer pen. The sentiment is from the freebie set from last month plus 'Thanks' from the Kindess Blooms set. For added interest I've used a Gerbera die from MFT, popped up on 3d foam to highlight my sentiment circle.

All that's left for me to do is set you off on the traditional Design Team Blog Hop and wish you luck.

Details about prizes and rules are over on the Uniko blog HERE so if you get lost along the way just head back there.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like what you've seen these last few days
and here's the FULL images of the sets we've been showcasing!

We also have 5 new stencils to add to the range and here's the images ...

Uniko - Introducing Life is a song, Background Blocks Equaliser

Hi There,

I'm back with Day 4 of our introductions to this month's release of new goodies from Uniko and we're adding a little musical note or two to your day. I've a little trio going on and having googled graphic equalisers for ideas I hope you like my colour combos!

These first 2 are coloured using the Zig Clear brush Markers having stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black, which works ok providing you don't add water.

For this next one I heat embossed the Background Block with WOW Gold embossing powder then coloured the 'LED' lights with Polychromos and added a 'You Rock' sentiment from the previously released Simply Said Block Sentiments

There's one more day of introductions tomorrow before the BIG reveal, release and giveaway on Wednesday so I hope you'll be back to join me! The release schedule can be found over on the Uniko blog HERE as well as links and peeks at how my fellow teamies have worked their magic!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for the next introduction.

Uniko - Introducing Spring Botanicals Daffodil

Hi There,

I'm back with some more introductions for you today as we showcase another beautiful floral set from Uniko, featuring that springtime favourite; daffodils.

I've also teamed it with sentiments from the Birthday Sentiments set introduced yesterday as it was my Mum's birthday this week so the card worked a treat to celebrate the occasion. It certainly was a BIG birthday but I didn't want to spoil the elegance of the blooms by adding a '70' on it!

Firstly I stamped the images on Bristol watercolour cardstock then heat embossed the daffodils in white before watercolouring with Zig Clear Brush Pens. I fuzzy cut the blooms and stems to create this little bouquet along a stitched curved border by MFT. The dotty yellow patterned paper is by Lawn Fawn.

As the set includes a Mother's Day sentiment I couldn't resist creating a card on that theme too although I think this one will have to go to my M-I-L to avoid the 'deja vu' experience for my own Mum!

I'll be back with some more introductions tomorrow before the BIG reveal, release and giveaway on Wednesday! The release schedule can be found over on the Uniko blog HERE as well as links and peeks at how my fellow teamies have worked their magic!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for the next introduction.

Honey I Shrunk The Kit #14

Hey there friends, I'm so excited to be sharing another day out with my fellow Honey Babes for another HISTK post! BUT I'm absolutely dreading it at the same time as it's my turn to host! What I thought might be a fun kit to work with turned into a bit of a nightmare as my mojo went AWOL in the last few weeks so I'm relying on the Babes to showcase it to the MAX!

Honey I Shrunk the Kit logo

The name of my kit is 'Sugar Fix' and here's a little piccy of the contents:

... and here's the list of contents:

Stamps: Reverse Confetti: Donut You Know (plus donut die), Neat & Tangled: Say Yes to Donuts, Avery Elle: Pick N Mix (plus dies) and Mama Elephant: Carnival Cupcakes (plus dies)
Other Dies: L’il Inker: Smile, Mama Elephant: Columbus Circle and Neat & Tangled: Hooray word dies
Other Items: Hobbycraft Basics: patterned paper, Action Wobbler, Doodlebug: bakers twine & Anita’s: half cut pearls

Somehow I managed 5 cards, some I like a lot more than others and this first one has to be my favourite. I made it for my niece and nephew for Halloween using the action wobbler behind the bag of sweeties. I used a couple of extra images from a CBS dis-continued set called In the Spirit.

No additional items were used for this one other than the kit and the images are coloured with Promarkers.

My colouring medium for the next one was the Kuretake Zig Clear Brush Pens but my doughnut looks a little burnt, don't you think? I used a wonky stitched die-cut panel (thanks to fellow Honey / LIM teamie, Anita ... quite convenient that she came to stay at my house recently and brought some of her treasured stash with her)!!!

Ooooh! What's this ... another wonky stitched panel (thanks again Anita)! Images and die-cut sentiment once again coloured with Promarkers, with the 'it's a boy' sentiment by CBS.

I'm really not sure about this one but had a few bits and pieces to use up so a framed display of sugary, jelly sweeties, all coloured with Promarkers and coated with wink of stella and glossy accents.

I hope you like my cards but I'm sure you'll love my teamies cards even more! Don't delay, check out these lovelies as I'm off to do now! Thanks for calling by and I hope to be back with more Honey I Shrunk the Kit kits next year!
