Morning friends and Happy Easter weekend.
I'm here with this week's challenge for Less is More
and it's colour week ....
Predominately BLACK
(you can use a teeny bit of another colour but very minimal)
Here's my examples and first up a 'silhouette effect'
Card recipe:
Marianne Creatables: Lord & Lady Dies
That makes 2 posts in the last week using Marianne's dies - do you find
you don't use some stash for ages then can't put it down!!!
Clearly Besotted: Mr & Mrs stamps - flourish and sentiment
There are a couple of teeny silver gems to the flourish too.
Here I've added a mini touch of pink with some Papermania gems
Card Recipe:
Love the silhoette card, fab design. And when I saw your flower card I thought that would be so good for TO!! Such a very clever take on Kim's card, love how you kept the flowers colour free giving an airy feel to your card. So pleased you joined is at TO.
ReplyDeleteOh my Sarah these are all gorgeous. Great new challenge. As you may remember from the previous challenge i just love CAS but i struggle with it. But i surely will try to join in again this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful inspiration cards. Have a great weekend, Veerle
Love these! Great use of that flourish on the bride. I'm gutted, last time I bought some goodies I had the Hennah Elements in my basket but had to narrow my order down and removed it...I WANT IT NOW! Love it in black xx

DeleteYour Altenew Hennah card is stunning. I so appreciate the card recipe, but could you please share a bit more detail? Black heat embossing? And what did you use for the coloring? in addition to the gorgeous pink Gems , what did you use for the color? Thanks for sharing your work.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment Dena, there's no colouring or heat embossing. Images are stamped in tuxedo black ink from memento.x
