Morning friends and I'm here again with details of the latest challenge
To maintain the clean and simple look I've hidden some of my Brusho
'master piece' behind a die from Sizzix but not before I'd die-cut the
dragonfly by Clearly Besotted from the same piece! The sentiment
is also Clearly Besotted from their Brushed Greetings II set.
I can't wait to see how you play with this challenge and I'm hoping to
learn lots of new techniques over the next fortnight! As always my
teamies have made some spectacular cards and if you head over to the
main AAA Cards blog there's links to their blogs
We are also joined by Alexandra of Made by Alexandra who is our
Guest Designer for this challenge and a previous winner of our challenge.
Please head over to her blog and give her a friendly welcome!
Our sponsor for this one is Stampendous so our lucky winner will
be in line for a prize - hope you feel inspired to play along!
Thanks as always for stopping by and I'll catch up with you again soon.
Beautiful Sarah, love those colours and the die cut top and dragonfly. All comes together perfectly.
ReplyDeleteWhat??? Has it already been a whole month? Good grief where did the time go? I'm still getting over the fact that we even had a retreat and I was able to meet you all. You have perfected Brushos, I see :) What amazing colour they produce and your card is simply stunning.
ReplyDeletePS - I received your card - thanks so much. I did send you an email but thought I would mention it in case you haven't seen it xx
Wow this was a super use of Brushos - die cutting the focal image AND the peeping it through the corner of the background was a genius touch Sarah.
ReplyDeleteThe prettiest effect with those brusho's and fabulous colours. Great that you die cut the dragonfly out of the background too. Beautiful card x
ReplyDeleteStunning! Love your colours and the corner die is magic.
ReplyDeleteWow gorgeous card
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried to the starch yet but love using the brushos, can't believe the colours are so fab. Such a cool idea to just use them at the edge like this and add a white die over the top, looks stunning x
ReplyDeleteLovely card, and a great Brusho background. My OH was tidying the cupboard under the sink the other day and asked me why I had spray starch in there. I said I'd bought it to try a crafting technique and never got round to it, and now I couldn't remember what it was! Guess what? I've remembered now!! I'd better try it soon before I forget again!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! And very clever way to use die cuts to ton a bit the vivid colors in background! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love dragonflies, and I love Brushes, and I LOVE this card. Your colors are gorgeous, and you have truly perfected this technique. I need to try it. Has Kylie done an online tutorial?? I need to look into that. Thanks for this inspiring beauty.
ReplyDeleteOoooo, yes! Brushos love right here, Sarah! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colors, Sarah! I love how you've used the background behind the cutout and with the dragonfly! Superb layout!
ReplyDeleteStunning! I love that die and the colours of your background and butterfly die cut are beautiful. xx
ReplyDeleteStunning card, Sarah! You achieved so vibrant colour combo, love it. - Sweet Kobylkin
