  1. Heee I love your little balloon dog!
I use watercolour pencils to colour, so I would usually stamp with Stazon

  2. Oh I love this! Super gorgeous! My go-to ink is Versafine Black Onyx.

  3. I use Memento Tuxedo Black all the time. It gives me clear images and great for Copic coloring.

  4. Depends on what I'm stamping for Copic coloring Memento of MFT licorice hybrid ink, for sentiments Versafine black onyx, for watercoloring StazON or MFT hybrid ink too now I have it ;-) and for colored stamping I love my Ranger Dye inks, also the onlyones I have ;-)...great card btw purple balloon! perfect lol happy birthday

  5. LOL, such a sweet card Sarah.
I emboss a lot so for this, of course it's Versamark. For most everything else it's Momento Tuxedo black!

  6. So fun and impeccably stamped, Sarah. I use SU inks because that is what I have, but I do have a variety of black inks too. I'm not too crazy about SU's black.

  7. A fun card with a very strong sentiment :) Love the purple balloondog!
My go to ink is Versafine because it stamps so detailed and I can use it to (water) colour on it...

  8. Oh I love this card Sarah! Love purple and black, and that wonderful purple balloon dog is so festive!! Love the little paw prints on top. Very festive and fun! I love Versafine Onyx black for sentiments, so I would say that is the ink I use the most. I tend to use PTI colored inks because I own all of them, and I have lots of distress inks that I use for coloring and blending.

  9. Purple and balloons, you're spoiling me Sarah! I use SU inks a lot for good single stamping cover, but now I've got my misti I'm going back to using Memento more and more as I actually prefer their colours. The little dewdrop pads are also a good way to try out colours before making the commitment to a larger pad.

  10. Such a cute card, i love the balloon dog! My go to ink is Versamark as i heat emboss alot but i love my momento dew drops as i prefer to ink my stamps with them and they're easy to add onto an acrylic block. I use my stampin Up inks alot for sponging my cards though.

  11. A very elegant design Sarah with a fun, purple, balloon dog. It can't get better than that. I'm partial to purple and balloons :)

    Love and hugs

  12. Memento Black & Versafine Black Onyx for Copics and Watercolor. And mostly PTI's inks.

  13. Oh I love this stamp image! The bright purple and black strip...fabulous card! As to my go to ink, I use my Memento black ink the most. To be honest, I haven't invested in lots of types of ink, so I use what I have purchased. I'll be interested in what your research uncovers. It might help me make some wise purchases!

  14. My go-to-ink for stamping is SSS dye ink. Mainly because I have more colors, but my favorite ink for techniques is distress ink.

  15. How cute is this! adorable balloon LOL this brings back some memories!! heehee Sweet design and I love the colors you used too.

I have been a die hard Memento - Tuxedo Black ink gal until recently when I tried to water color over it and it smeared. I was given the advice to try Versafine and I LOVE! it!! This is such a dark black ink it has become my new fav even when I'm not water coloring : )

Thanks a bunch for the chance to win.

  16. Darling card! I love that fun balloon stamp and the sentiment! Great color choice too!
My go-to ink is Versafine Onyx Black! I love the true black color and that I can use it with watercolors! It give a great, crisp image also!

  17. That sure is a fun balloon stamp!
My go to ink is Memento Tuxedo Black for outline stamps. I see someone else had a problem with it smearing when using it with watercolor but (so far) I have not had bad luck with it. I love all the (well, almost all) the colors of Distress Inks. They are great for watercoloring and for backgrounds because of the ability to blend them.

  23. Cute card (somehow, the 'party animal' sentiment with the doggie balloon - its just making me laugh!)
I have two go to inks - I use Memento Tuxedo Black for the most part. I use MFT Hybrid ink when I do watercoloring. I tried Hero Arts Black ink, but that stained my stamps too much (the MFT inks stains, but not as much)!

  24. Cute card :) For me the memento tuxedo black is the favorite for stamping, I like the crisp line it gives. For the coloring it has to be Tim Holtz distress inks

    ReplyDelete
  25. Memento tuxedo black for the stamping but I love blending distress inks from Tom holtz for vackgeoubss. Your card is so cute.

  26. I adore your cards Sarah! This one is super cool! My go to inks are distress inks! They are so versatile and can't get enough of them! :)

  28. Aa fabulous a card as ever Sarah, but then you never produce anything less than superb!
I think the go to ink of my choice is Memento, Onyx black first then a few other shades, but I love it!

  29. Pretty card - love the balloon puppy!!! My go to inks would be Tim Holtz distress inks - they are perfect for a whole range of different techniques from water coloring to sponging. LOVE THEM:)

  30. Beautiful card Sarah, I love the color palette, the funny ballon image and the layout... Well, all of it! I don't have any of those American "stamping company" inks that look amazing.... But I have got quite good results with Memento. It's also handy that you can buy dew drops, those smaller size pads. And now when I have the misti, it's easy to overstamp if I miss a spot! :) For black I like Versafine. It's the blackest black I've tried.

  31. Versafine for all sentiments and water coloring! Memento black for stamping all images, especially if I am coloring with copics!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Love your card with the Balloon Dog! My go to ink is Memento especially Tuxedo Black which is the best for using with Copic coloring. But I also use Versafine Onyx Black. Happy 2nd Birthday to all of you at AAA Cards!

  33. Cute card! My ink? Just discovered Distressed ink for coloring in and for backgrounds. But I like Stazon, Memento ones to do the outlines.

    ReplyDelete
  34. What an adorable card! So cute!! My go-to ink used to be Memento Tuxedo Black because I enjoy Copic coloring. I've recently found myself reaching for the new Intense Black ink from Simon Says Stamp because it's also Copic friendly but is a darker black than the Memento. For sentiments, my go-to is VersaFine Black Onyx.

  35. Lovely card... love the balloon animal. I go to Momento black always as I use with copics. I also use a lot of tim holtz distress ink for watercoloring.

  40. What a super card and such a fabulous balloon stamp. My favourite ink for stamping is Memento Dew Drops as they are small enough to multicolour stamps xx

  41. I have four inks that are in constant use, each for different purposes. Distress ink in Tea Dye, Memento in Tuxedo Black, Versafine in Onyx Black and Versamark clear ink.
I've been eyeing that balloon dog stamp for a few days and now you've shown it to me in action I think I'm going to have to get it - it looks fab on your lovely card

  42. I LOVE your sweet little balloon dog! That is adorable! I always use Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black for images, especially if I'm using copic markers. I'm researching myself for the best, bright, vivid colored inks for flowers, etc, so I'll be reading all your comments too!

  43. Festive & fun--love your card! My favorite ink is Versafine Onxy Black for sentiments & Delicata Golden Glitz for gold. When it comes to colors--I like so many I can't give a favorite, but I do still love my Brilliance ink pads!

  44. Love your little balloon dog - so much fun.
My favourite and most used ink is Memento tuxedo black, so that I can use my Promarkers for colouring

    ReplyDelete
  45. LOVE your CAS card, your chosen colour palette, layout and mix of stamps is FABulous! Love your question too, you'll have to share your research results ;) I think my 'go to' inks for stamping have to be VersaMagic. My reason for this is their coverage and stamping results. I get 'stressed' if I get pooling of ink on a stamp or if a stamped image comes out fuzzy! I have 99% of the time got good results with these inks. I like the colour range they have, though they are missing a few of my favourite 'go to' colours! Hugs Bev x

  57. Such a pretty card. I'm still trying to find the perfect ink for stamping. I love the minimcersion, because I gat more colours for less money. So far, my Memento dew drops yield the best results, but I'm also enjoying he Altenew inks. Love that they offer sets containing shades of one base colour. The best investment I made is my MISTI, because it allows me to double stamp to get a crisp image.
For sentiments i like Archival black because it gives crisp results.

  58. Love this CAS design and the purple balloon animal is so cute!! I love Hero Arts Shadow Dye Inks and Versafine for my black inking. They always work so well!

  59. So cute, especially the sentiment! I like Versa Magic dew drops for watercoloring and stamping, they are my first set of pigment ink pads. I love their small sizes (why I can bring them all the way from Taiwan) and their price point. My high school besties got the 36 whole set for me as a gift and I still cherish them. :) p.s. LOVE the distress minis for ink blending and all sorts of cool techniques!
